Before you start: the invoice must be saved – see how to create a GST invoice. Set a follow-up date on each invoice so reminders go out on time.
Find pending payments
See every unpaid and part-paid invoice in one list.

Open Pending Payments
Go to Finances → Pending Payments. Sort by Invoice By Date, Invoice By Value or Customer; sales orders have their own tabs.

Check and download
Each card shows Total, Paid and Pending, the Due Date and Follow Up Date. Click Download Invoice Pending Payments for an Excel list.
Record the payment with Pay Now
Enter what the customer paid against the invoice.

Open the invoice
Open the invoice and go to Payment Details.

Fill in the Pay Now row
Enter the Date, Payment Mode, Payment Details (such as cheque or UTR number) and Amt. to Pay, then click Pay Now. Any amount up to the balance is allowed, so part payments work.
Check total, paid and balance
The invoice always shows where the payment stands.

Check the balance
After Pay Now, the invoice shows the updated Paid and Balance amounts.

Print a payment receipt
Each payment can be printed as a receipt PDF (standard or small) to give the customer.
Turn on payment reminder SMS
Let Catalystk send payment reminders automatically.

Open the branch SMS settings
Open your branch details and set Payment Client Reminder SMS to True. Turn on Invoice Payment Auto SMS too, then click Save.

Set follow-up dates
Reminders are sent on each unpaid invoice's follow-up date. SMS needs an SMS template on your account – ask Catalystk support to set it up.
